Join Becky's Fund this Tuesday evening, September 28, 2010, as fashion takes a stand against domestic violence.

That's right. Eric Finn Custom Clothiers and Becky's Fund will host the Second Annual **Walk This Way** Charity Fashion Show. There, Matt Landsberg, founder and owner of the luxury men’s clothier, will showcase his collection, which will be modeled by local professional athletes and celebrity models.

D.C.'s social and philanthropic elites are expected to congregate for this fabulous event, which will benefit Becky’s Fund, a Washington, D.C.-based national non-profit organization that uses education and empowerment to prevent and raise awareness regarding domestic violence.

Last year’s event was a huge success, and this year's gathering will surely follow suit. Walk This Way 2010 is sponsored by Vitamin Water, MillerCoors, Popchips, and Dr. Michael Gocke of Virginia Oral, Facial & Implant Surgery. And the event's honorary committee includes some of the most respected leaders in the community. It includes D.C. Councilmembers Yvette Alexander, Jack Evans, and Harry Thomas, H.E. Abdulwahab Abdulla Al-Hajjri, Ambassador of Yemen; Mary Amons, “Labels for Love” founder and reality television star; Flavius Galiber of Northrop Grumman Corporation; and Juleanna Glover, founding principal of the Ashcroft Group, LLC.

I'm anxious to see the many fashion-forward looks crossing the over-the-pool runway at The Liaison Hotel. Guests will also enjoy complimentary cocktails and pass hors d'oeuvres, as well as a luxury-filled silent auction. A for instance, you ask? Well, there are VIP tickets to nationally broadcast television shows like the David Letterman Show and Live with Regis and Kelly. Jewelry by local jeweler and artist, Melissa Lew. A painting by local artist, Maggie O’Neill. And airline tickets from OpenSkies. That's just for starters.

So join the fun and support an important cause simultaneously. It will take place at The Liaison Hotel, an Affinia Hotel, Capitol Hill, 415 New Jersey Avenue Washington, D.C. Tickets are $125 and include open bar and food from 6:30-10:30 p.m. VIP tickets are also available---$200 with VIP access and gift bag.  For tickets, visit the event page at: www.bit.ly/WalkThisWay2010
