Ashley Boalch Crowned Miss DC 2011 | News
WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA)-- There she is, Miss District of Columbia 2011, Ashley Boalch.

The 23 year old University of Maryland student beat 15 contestants for the crown.
This is her first pageant experience and will represent DC at the Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas come January.
Lauren Seely, 15 won Miss DC Oustanding Teen and will also compete on the national level.
Judges this year included Washington Post columnist John Kelly, Top Chef's Spike Mendelsohn and WUSA's Angie Goff.
