Bourbon Steak Chef David Varley Interviewed at StarChefs Gala

On Tuesday, October 26, the StarChefs 2010 Rising Stars event was held at Charlie Palmer Steakhouse, celebrating D.C., Maryland, and Virginia's rising stars in the world of food and drink.

David Varley of Bourbon Steak from the Four Seasons in Georgetown was selected as a DC Rising Star chef.  Varley served attendees shrimp with shaved green papaya, long pepper, and toasted peanuts.  Yes...it was as delicious as it sounds.

Bourbon Steak located at the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown, has just launched a new cocktail fall list with a tempting medley of classic, specialty and hot cocktails to carry guests through the varied temperatures in Autumn.

Saturday, October 9th from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., the Georgetown Business Improvement District will present the 17th annual Taste of Georgetown.

Some of the attractions?  A live paella demonstration and cuisine created by a undisclosed Top Chef contestant. 

Tickets are $5 per tasting and $20 for five tastings. The event will benefit the Georgetown Ministry Center.
