District Sample Sale Proves That Fashion and Charity Go Hand In Hand

Last night, Georgetown's M Street was abuzz as hundreds of fashionable women—from up and down the east coast—attended the District Sample Sale. The event is hosted twice-annually by the District Sample Sale Foundation, which was founded by Real Housewives of D.C. star Mary Schmidt Amons, Shannon Haley, Liberty Jones, Barbara Martin and Jayne Sandman. Prior to this eighth installment of the Sale, the Foundation had raised over $187,000 for local charities.

District Sample Sale in Georgetown to Benefit GW's Breast Cancer Mammovan Program

On Thursday, September 16th, The District Sample Sale Foundation will hold yet another District Sample Sale.  The event will run from 5:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m., and will take place at 3336 M Street in Georgetown.

Benefits from the Sample Sale will go to the George Washington University Medical Center Mammovan.  GW’s Mammovan is a unique program that provides mammograms to women in need throughout the DC area.

The District Sample Sale invites women to enjoy an evening of designer shopping at bargain prices.  Tons of upscale DC boutiques and designers will be offering incredible products at incredibly low prices.

The District Sample Sale will have food and drink as well.  Additionally, there will be a silent auction and raffle.
