Blue Bus To Be Replaced by Circulator

In just over a week, the Georgetown Metro Connection, also known as the Blue Bus, will become part of the Circulator system.

Starting August 29, the new service will begin.  The new system will keep the exact same route, and will still run from Dupont Circle to Rosslyn, Virginia, with stops throughout Georgetown.

Regular tickets will cost one dollar, while senior citizens and people with disabilities can ride for fifty cents.

While the new Circulator route will accept SmarTrip and cash, passengers will not be able to use Blue Bus monthly passes.
